Recruitment process
Q: Are you accepting applications from Japanese students studying abroad?
A: As we are actively expanding our global business, we welcome applications from students who have studied abroad.

Q: How do I apply?
A: We are accepting applications
Once your application has been submitted, we will notify you about a company information session.
If you are interested in UACJ Metal Components Corporation, please send in your application.
Q: What is the selection process like?
A: We will first ask you to attend a company information session (either online or in-person).
After the company information session, you can apply for a job interview by submitting your resume in the format of the university you belong to.
Candidates will be asked to take a web-based aptitude test and participate in several interviews.
We are also flexible with job matching interviews.
Q: Can you introduce me to alumni and alumnae?
A: Each case is handled individually.

Assignments and work after joining the company
Q: Do I need specialized knowledge to join the company?
A: Nothing is required.
Having said that, we do encourage you to acquire the knowledge and qualifications that you believe are needed to achieve your goals and plans after joining the company.
Q: Are there opportunities to work overseas or travel abroad for business?
A. Yes, of course!
Some of our employees started working overseas after just three years with the company.
Q: Are there advancement opportunities for women?
A: At work, it doesn't matter if you are male or female.
We are all rivals who work hard together and associates who share the joy of success!
Benefits and other systems
Q: Can I continue working after marriage or childbirth?
A: Yes, you can. In fact, all female employees who've had a child have taken maternity leave.
Many mothers and fathers are able to maintain a good work-life balance by using the short working hour system.
Q: What is the education and training system for new employees like?
A: New employees are provided with group training and factory training at UACJ Nagoya's Human Resource Development Center.
After that, training will be conducted at UACJ Metal Components Corporation.
A senior employee will work with you one-on-one and support you as a mentor and advisor.
Through this training, you will learn the knowledge you should have as a member of society, company rules, and how to proceed with your work.
During factory training, you will experience "monozukuri," the basics of manufacturing, through hands-on work at a manufacturing site.
In the latter half of the first year, you will receive follow-up training based on what you’ve learned at the position you were assigned to.
Q: Could you tell me about the self-development support system?
A: We support self-development through subsidies for language courses and correspondence courses and dispatches to external educational courses.
Q: Can I take annual paid leave (paid vacation)?
A: 12 to 22 days of paid vacations are granted per year. In addition, you can take congratulation or condolence leave, accumulated leave, nursing leave, etc.
Company culture
Q: What is the company atmosphere like?
A: Each department is slightly different, but as a whole, we have an open atmosphere that welcomes input regardless of position or age.
Many people are open-minded and generous.
Q: What kind of clothes do employees wear to work?
A: Uniforms are worn within the factory, and most people wear suits and jackets at the office and head office.
Since 2020, we’ve been recommending "no tie, no jacket" look in accordance with the “cool biz” policy (seasonal change of clothing), and more people are opting for a casual look.
Q: Do you have any club activities?
A: Yes, we do.
While they are all unofficial clubs at present, they provide an opportunity for people from different organizations and departments to meet others who share the same interests.
