As a student, I studied agricultural production at a faculty of agriculture and learned about the diversity of living things.
When it came time to go job hunting, I decided that I wanted to work for a company that was not tied down to one thing but had diversity, and that’s when I came across this company.
The company handles various products, from building materials to craft products. Even though it specializes in metal processing, its customers are from a variety of fields, including food and pharmaceuticals.
I joined the company because I felt that the company’s values aligned with mine.
I’m currently in charge of compiling the figures from each plant and compiling the monthly expenses of the plants.
I compile the results into a document for management meetings.
In addition to making sure the figures are correct, I also create materials that show comparative data for each plant, as well as monthly and yearly changes and trends.
Just by looking at the numbers in the documents that come in daily, I can really see the issues at each plant and the improvements that have been made through our efforts. So I’ll add my findings and create materials where the key points can be understood at a glance and used for management decision-making.
In my fourth year with the company, I was allowed to attend management meetings and give reports, etc. It’s both sobering and rewarding to think that the materials I put together are used to make management decisions.
I am working on an office reform project.
We are promoting web conferencing and remote working to improve work efficiency and prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are also gathering solutions for efficiency and cost reduction and creating a system to implement them.
The ways in which we work are changing. In addition to remote working, we’re also going paperless.
I want to use this opportunity to change how this company works.
However, just because a system has been created and introduced, it does not mean that it will easily take root.
It’s not enough to just make a manual and hand it out. You also need to make phone calls, create videos to explain the system, and help people transition.
This is where I feel the importance of human relationships. People have been supportive of our new initiatives and are helping to educate others about the reforms.
There is only so much that one person can do, so I would like to place greater importance on daily communications and work with everyone to expand the scope of our activities.

Personal life
I'm interested in architecture and enjoy visiting famous buildings.
I’ve been working in sales for two years, so when I go to museums, I tend to check out the building materials.
I went to a children's library the other day and was impressed by how beautiful it was. It's impressive even for adults.
What I like about UACJ Metal Components Corporation
I like that my bosses leave things up to me.
At the same time, they check in and provide input when needed.
As part of the office reform project, we’re currently working on visualizing office expenses and are about 30% of the way to our goal.
I enjoy working across departments.
