Nippon Aluminum Co., Ltd. Nikkei Kakoh Co., Ltd. Nippon Aluminum Ena Co.
1890 The company is established. (Metal ornament processing)
1895 Teikoku Twine & Textile Co. is established.
1932 Nakatani Manufacturing Co. is established.
1937 Nippon Light Metal Chemical Industry Co. is established.
1944 Toto Aviation Precision Machinery Co. is established. Manufacturing begins at the Ichikawa Plant.
1945 Teinen Kogyo Co. is established.
1947 The company name is changed to Iwai Manufacturing Co.
1954 The company name is changed to Iwai Metal Industry Co.
1969 The company name is changed to TEINEN KOGYO CO.
1972 Joins the group of Sumitomo Light Metal Industries, Ltd.
1980 The Hiroshima Plant is established.
1988 The Narita Plant is established. U.S. subsidiary Penn Tec Q. Inc. is established. The company becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Light Metal Industries, Ltd.
1989 Iwai Malaysia (Yangjin Malaysia) is established.
1991 Iwai Metal America, Inc. is established.
1992 Iwai Metal Mexico, S.A. is established.
1994 Iwai Indonesia (Yangjin Indonesia) is established.
1995 Sumitomo Light Metal Industries, Ltd. acquires industrial business commercial rights.
1997 The Hiroshima Plant acquires ISO 9001 certification.
1998 ISO 9001 certification is acquired.
2001 The former Nippon Light Metal Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. and former Tohoku Furukawa Light Metal Processing Co., Ltd. merge. The founding company is renamed Nikkei Kakoh Co.
Tohoku Furukawa Light Metal Processing Co. is established.
2002 The head office and factory acquire ISO 9001 certification.
2003 The Sendai Plant and the Oyama Plant acquire ISO 9001 certification.
The Hiroshima Plant acquires ISO 14001 certification.
2004 ISO14001 certification is acquired.
2005 The Iwai Malaysia (Yangjin Malaysia) production base is consolidated with Iwai Indonesia (Yangjin Indonesia).
2009 The Head Office and the Sendai Plant acquire ISO 14001 certification.
2010 The company name is changed to Sumikei Techno Ena Co.

Furukawa-Sky (Wuxi) Aluminum Processing Co. is established.
2012 Nippon Aluminum Co., Ltd. and Iwai Metal Industry Co., Ltd. merge. The company name is changed to Nalco Iwai Co.
2013
Oct. 1st
UACJ Corporation is established through a merger between Furukawa-Sky Aluminum Corp. and Sumitomo Light Metal Industries, Ltd. Business is transferred to Nalco Ena Co.
2014
Jul. 1st
UACJ Components Fukaya Co., Ltd. and Nikkei Kakoh Co., Ltd. merge to form Nikkei Kakoh Co.
Newly-established UACJ Metal Processing Inc. splits off from UACJ Inc.
Enters the processing group of UACJ Metal Components Corporation.
